Home

We are home and so grateful for the prayers of everyone while we were gone. We had quite a bit of travelling to do, for the service and we're blessed to be HOME. I hope to upload lots of pictures this week about our travels. Thank  you again for prayers.

OUR TRAVELS FOR FUNERAL

We left our home a week ago to drive to Seattle and fly to Raliegh NC, followed by a drive to Greenville NC, then another drive to Raleigh and a drive through NC and Virginia to stop for coffee and hugs in Fairfax VA, with the Villiers Family.Continuing on through Maryland and ,then into Gettysburg Pennsylvania, for the night a quick drive tour of the Battlefeilds. The nextafternoon we drove onto Connecticut through New Jersey, and upper Manhattan across the Hudson River and into Connecticut. We arrived just in time for the family Wake and dinner. The next morning we attended our Nephew Edward's service, it was a praise to see the Spirit of God in that place.I will write much more about it later

Nephew Passed Away

"Got news early this morning that our Nephew Eddie passed away, he was only 28. He has 4 small children and of course this was very unexpected. Thank you for your prayers for the Spellman family at this time."

Homecoming Night

Connections and Fellowship

As a Born Again Believer In Christ, I long to know Him deeper and long to know his followers as well. I am a social being, I consider myself right int he middle of extro and intor ---vertism. I love and crave home time with my Husband and I desire time with a group of believers studying God's Word; but I also enjoy the time I get to just be around women who share my faith and beliefs. For this reason, I try to spend most of my time in the home with my family, I enjoy the church we have been attending for 4+ years and I like to attend our small group with famiies from our church.  As well as BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) with a group of like minded women to dig deeper into God's word, this year it is Isaiah.    My MOPS mornings is like the cherry on top of it all. Getting together with moms from all sorts of backgrounds and understandings of our Lord, and be given the oppurtunity to share my heart with them and they with me. I pray that your fellowship and und...

He too is getting in better shape with the PT squad and has his mile just over 7 minutes, it was over 12 last year so he is pretty excited to see the progress. He is also looking into the Rifle Drill squad."

Chilean Rescue

I am able to watch the rescue liev on line and I am amazed, at the technology and engineering process that is a occurring today. These men have been underground for 70 days today. One reporter last night stated that  there were 33 men in the mine but 34 inpresence. that God never left them. Most of these men claim a walk of Catholasism and gripped dearly to the Faith in God to get them through. I canot even imagine the strength mentally, let alone physical, that it took for them to get to this day. A day where the rescue is not a dream but an event that is bringing one miner at a time to the earth's surface. Thank you Lord for their lives being given back to them and their families.

My leisure Morning turned RUSH hour

I was relaxing and going through emails when I was reminded of a very important Health care fair I needed to attened today.  I will share my before and after pictures of what I was trying to accomplish later. I have not cleaned that quickly in a long time. Still not done sweeping, but dishes, sipe down, laundry, beds and living room picked up cleaned and put back. oh yes and I wanted to bake cookies, that will have to wait til I get back.  Now to pour another cup of coffee and get out the door.

Waiting for Rain

It has been hinting towards rain since last night, but only a drop or so here and there so far. the coolness of the morning had Addysen telling me the temprature was only 69 in the kitchen. I am thinking it is time to crank the heater for the hours just before dawn and warm the house for the morning rush hours.  Making a fresh pot of coffee, helps take the chill off and the kids have been asking for cocoa more, time to stock up on marshmallows. So here comes fall, and I am looking forward to rain. It cleans the hops smell from the neighborhood and washes dirt and grime off the house and drive way. Thank you Lord for the change of seasons.

Cross Country

On this day East Valley faced off against West Valley, Selah, and Zillah. there were about 35 runners and Emma placed near the middle of the pack. With a time of 13:58 she felt really good about her first competition.
