Be Strong and Courageous

Last month thanks to some help from a couple of our friends (thank you Nebeker's and Baxter's) Keith and I were able to get away for a few days. We had not had time away since just before our move into the house over a year ago. We visited a town called Leavenworth, WA. It is a very touristy "German Alps" village just an hour and half North of us. We had never been, guess mostly since we had been to the real Germany and Alps I never saw the point. But we had a lovely time away with lots of window shopping and walking together. We needed a little break from the hohum of parenting to reconnect and I am so blessed that we got the chance to do so. We even enjoyed a carriage ride and Gelato cones in the coole of the evening!!

so I have been working on a signature this morning and finally found one I liked! Yeah me for  coding something right. Mommy of two, should be proud, LOL that  I was able to code it!!!!

Tomatoes continue to come a few at a time, can't wait for the rush of the 100+ that are ripening now!! Andrew leaving for Idaho, summer youth camp, he had a blast and even met a girl, she's in Boise. Addy and I stopped by a back yard VBS for the day and got to hunt for tadpoles in the pond! She was so brave even took her shoes off and went 'wading'. While we were in Leavenworth (just Keith and I) we picked the girls up a wooden puzzle Addy got horses and Emma got a lamb. They love them of course, Andrew stills has his from Germany a Trex. We had some corn on the cob for the first time this summer and it was yummy!! We celbrated Keith's 41st birthday as well. Got a chance to get out to a park and play for a bit on a breezy 90+ day. Afterward stopped by a friends where Addy found a new friend, she was pretending to be sleepy, silly girl.  Have a mentioned lately how blessed I am, a loving husband, good kids, beautiful home, all gifts from GOD and rainbows ...
