With Family visits,
summer weather finally arriving bringing fruits to perfection,
birthday parties,
and a new car.
The blessings have been overflowing this month.
The time of new teachers and new schedules has arrived, Sophomore with JROTC on his mind and lots of hopes for the new year, 8th grader with braces coming tomorrow along with finding out her fall schedule and cross country practice around the corner (the girls loves to run - God is so great to have blessed her with a love run), and a first grader who just wants to stay with her kindergarten teachers because she loves them and she "just knows the new one will only talk Spanish to her", silly girl.
The quiet before the storm of homework, JROTC meets out of town, cross country runs all over the county and beyond and the refreshing of our chosen second language.
We still have 3 more Civil War reenactments to participate in; a local one in Tieton, WA, one at Ft Stevens near Astoria, OR, and Plain WA, near Leavenworth in October. I have plans to make another dress for myself this winter and a short sleeve one for Addy as well. The boys have all the gear they can carry at this time, all that is left is a Tent for all of us to stay in where we can join the other civilians in the Mason/Dixson township.
As I finally edit this and upload it is now the 8th of September :) Time is just flying by. So many more photos ans stories to up load.

I am Stacie, Jackie's twin sis. I saw your comment on her blog. We were also at the reenactment. Thank you for participating! We had so much fun watching everyone and learning about the 1860's.
Blessings,
Stacie
