Summer is here

A morning at the park, it is at the nearby school and perfect for all ages. Just enough for everyone, with a skatepark on the other end of the field and paved 1/2 mile track for the kids to ride their bikes. The dome used to be one of my favorites when I was a kid. We met up with a couple girlfriends and their kiddos, and stayed until the warmth of the day sent us back home for lunch, and naps. Who needs a yard at home when you have this 3 blocks away.



It was great that there was a toddler swing for little Jillane to have a try at the fun. the blanket kept her from being wobbly.










The little monkey Addysen could swing with great force and stay swinging for minutes, wish I had that upper body strength.












Emma was doing dress up with Jillane out of grandma's hope chest from outfits that I used to wear, still kinda cute after 37 years!

45 & Counting

The days ahead of my birthday were filled with wonderful times, friends and reflection on my part. I'm blessed to have these handful of ladies to be doing life with right now. They challenge me in striving to lean on God, look to His Word in scripture and I'm reminded I'm loved, as well to humble myself. They all love Jesus and each adds a great JOY to my days.  I've been given a life underserved. With days of grace and mercy, He pours out on me, a love I still don't fully comprehend.  The richness of blessing that is my husband. His amazing example of love through serving. I was spoiled for days, with dinner, gifts, breakfast, more gifts, lunch, flowers, and yes more gifts. Multitudes on Monday..

Wow ~~~~ the Lord is so gracious! I have missed reading and participating in such a great community of believer's and counting the grace, the good and the 'not how I planned it' but God knew what He was doing days.
