Time Is flying

I sometimes am cut off guard by how quickly time flies and how much is jst 'going on' around me. My hub and I met 15 1/2 years ago at a fall dance and through a singles group that met once a week. We did not officially start dating ar really getting to know one another until late May of 1994. We were engaged July 1994 and married November 1994 and I am in awe of the 15 years that have since just flown by. We were blessed with our First child Andrew in February of 96 and Emma in December of 97. Life moved us from East coast to West coast to Germany in no time flat and back again to West coast where we were again blessed with Addysen February 03. What brings me to all of this is last night 2 things happened that made time seem so sureal to me. Emma asked her daddy to dance with her, they used to do this often, when she was small, but as a watch our 11 1/2 year old relish in dancing with her father, my eyes were lit with joy, and love for them both. Secondly as we headed to bed and our Addysen had some how snuck into our bed and fallen to sleep while we were our tending to the plants, I made that comment that the sneaky little '3' year old could just have the couch in our room that night, and keith corrected me that she was now "4" - slip of the tongue or wishful thinking to turn back time i am not sure but time seems to be fleeting.

God's blessing to you all that get a chance to read my babblings and God's peace to those need an extra dose today!!!

That is lovely. To picture your daughter asking Daddy for a dance, just beautiful. To know that her first love is God and then her Daddy is WONDERFUL! *smile* My eyes also lit with joy for you and your beautiful family. Have a great day knowing God loves you. I joined in on the Blizzard Blog hop via household6diva Feel free to check out the nearly 200 who are linked in so far. My name is Nicole and I blog over at Be Anxious for Nothing  . I have been at this blogging thing for a few years and love the opportunity it gives me to see other women wanting to be an encouragement to those they can even via the web. I blog mostly about what matter to me,  my family and my faith. I have been married to my man for 16 + years and have 3 wonderful children.  I love the Ocean - here we are at the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. We woke the children at 525 AM to see the sunrise and none of them even complained.  I can usually be found with some form of coffee with in a few feet of me. I love sunrises and sunsets, and taking photos when the opportunity arrives. We built our first home in 2009 and this past summer I grew my first 'tiny' garden. The tomatoes were a big hit. This is the love of my life, we w...

45 & Counting

The days ahead of my birthday were filled with wonderful times, friends and reflection on my part. I'm blessed to have these handful of ladies to be doing life with right now. They challenge me in striving to lean on God, look to His Word in scripture and I'm reminded I'm loved, as well to humble myself. They all love Jesus and each adds a great JOY to my days.  I've been given a life underserved. With days of grace and mercy, He pours out on me, a love I still don't fully comprehend.  The richness of blessing that is my husband. His amazing example of love through serving. I was spoiled for days, with dinner, gifts, breakfast, more gifts, lunch, flowers, and yes more gifts. In all things, I'm full beyond words with a grateful heart.  The weekend leading up to my birthday, I had the opportunity to attend IF: Local here in Yakima.  We were given the verse:  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their hom...
