So Much Going On!

May for us for the last 3 years has meant Selah days parade and performance followed by photo sessions for dance. This is the first year the Emma and her BFF have been in class together and they have been giddy all year. With our move across town it gives them 2+ hours a weeks to sneak in some catch up time.  Here they are all dolled up ready for their ballet shoot.
The swing that we bought last month has finally made it to the yard. Now we just need to build a small box around it for the pea gravel.
Here is Addysen, at 7:10 AM mind you taking her first swing on her new 'playground' as she wants to call it.

The Hops are on their way up the shoots, they grow almost a foot a day, check back next week for the up date. they will reach the top of their 21 foot pole in no time flat.
So last week I was searching out Lumber garden boxes and found the directions for an easy peasy one ( I will link it later) and my man desided to get it put together for me, I got to help with the drilling and diggin of the holes. It measures 6' by 4' and I am excited to have it. I already bought 3 kinds of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. yippe for my Victory garden.
Oh yes before I forget my man also spread 2 cubic yards of river rock aound the house, needless to say his shoulders and back ar a bit achy this week.  We still need 2 more, yards and pea gravel but it can wait.
And the Piece de' Resistance ~ our grass is almost grown in. We are going to do a rock bed along the house, and around the swing, but I would say 90% of our grass is doing really good. I cannot wait for our fence to go up in a few weeks so that our yard can truly be a haven fo the kids and us.
Here is my humble little garden planter, if I enjoy the process and the crop goes well, Lord willing I will add another one next year.

Looking good. Like your daughter enjoyed her time with her best friend in dance class. And your youngest daughter enjoys her swing set. And that gravel around the house looks nice. The garden spot should be a fun thing for you this year as it's your first home and all. *smile* I do hope you have a good time with it and that the fence indeed accomplishes what you all hope it will. *smile* Have a great evening and what a lovely garden box that is. *smile* Sincerely, Mommy of two little blessings & so much more!

I joined in on the Blizzard Blog hop via household6diva Feel free to check out the nearly 200 who are linked in so far. My name is Nicole and I blog over at Be Anxious for Nothing  . I have been at this blogging thing for a few years and love the opportunity it gives me to see other women wanting to be an encouragement to those they can even via the web. I blog mostly about what matter to me,  my family and my faith. I have been married to my man for 16 + years and have 3 wonderful children.  I love the Ocean - here we are at the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. We woke the children at 525 AM to see the sunrise and none of them even complained.  I can usually be found with some form of coffee with in a few feet of me. I love sunrises and sunsets, and taking photos when the opportunity arrives. We built our first home in 2009 and this past summer I grew my first 'tiny' garden. The tomatoes were a big hit. This is the love of my life, we w...

45 & Counting

The days ahead of my birthday were filled with wonderful times, friends and reflection on my part. I'm blessed to have these handful of ladies to be doing life with right now. They challenge me in striving to lean on God, look to His Word in scripture and I'm reminded I'm loved, as well to humble myself. They all love Jesus and each adds a great JOY to my days.  I've been given a life underserved. With days of grace and mercy, He pours out on me, a love I still don't fully comprehend.  The richness of blessing that is my husband. His amazing example of love through serving. I was spoiled for days, with dinner, gifts, breakfast, more gifts, lunch, flowers, and yes more gifts. In all things, I'm full beyond words with a grateful heart.  The weekend leading up to my birthday, I had the opportunity to attend IF: Local here in Yakima.  We were given the verse:  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their hom...

Multitudes on Monday..

Wow ~~~~ the Lord is so gracious! I have missed reading and participating in such a great community of believer's and counting the grace, the good and the 'not how I planned it' but God knew what He was doing days. Jeremiah 29:11-14 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the L ord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the L ord . I have taken a pretty long break since posting last in this catagory and the passed month  and 1/2 since I last posted gift 465, I have written just uner 100 gifts of grace and life from my LORD. I will not take time write all of them today just a few ...... 469. Bounty of rain 470. Strawberry buds 473. Being told I am an asset to someone 478. Teenagers cooking dinner for family  483. (written in  my daughter's handwriting) A beautiful and joy...
