It is a gorgeous day here in the valley and I went out to give the plants a good trim back to help my tomatoes along. I love the bright yellow 'tiny' flower that blooms into the sweetest cherry tomato, God is so good to put the smallest detail there for our enjoyment.
My first cucumber, I have about 5 vines and about 10 cucumbers but this one is the biggest so far. Hoping to get enough at once to pickle them. Yummy!!
If my tomato plant stood straight up it would be over 6 feet tall, I even had to 'build' a hammock of sorts for it to keep it off the ground
The pear tomato plant has gone crazy , I am the only one who cares for them so yummy for me!!!
I cleaned out my spice and cupboard today as well, as I cnsider learning to use some 'new' ones, I wanted to inventory what I had going and check my bread yeast supply. I am sad to say I had to toss my yeast ans will have to buy new, guess I should have made that bread this summer. Oh well, it is on my 12 things list
and I hope to pick up a few new spices next month as well.
