Day 3

Today we started with another green smoothie and cold cereal for breakfast.

For lunch the kids all had hot lunch for the first time this year. I had spinach and romain with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers  for lunch. I also had 2 cups of coffee to day, along with 4 of my 24 oz water bottles.

For after school they each had a half plum and half peach for their snack with water.

For dinner I fed every one else their salads and  I had a bowl of cereal after Andrew's open house. Oh yes with another water bottle.

I also had a very late night cup of joe. I managed not to 'snack' through out the day which is a big step as well. I am trying to keep my 'snacks ' to the fruit and veggie kind.

Today I am going to meet with a friend to look  the weight watchers process and see how I can encorperate it into cooking for the 6 of us and not feeling overshelmed. by adding  'counting' things to my list of daily adventures. Wish me lluck.

I joined in on the Blizzard Blog hop via household6diva Feel free to check out the nearly 200 who are linked in so far. My name is Nicole and I blog over at Be Anxious for Nothing  . I have been at this blogging thing for a few years and love the opportunity it gives me to see other women wanting to be an encouragement to those they can even via the web. I have been married to my man for 16 + years and have 3 wonderful children.  I love the Ocean - here we are at the beautiful Outer Banks of NC. We woke the children at 525 AM to see the sunrise and none of them even complained.  I can usually be found with some form of coffee with in a few feet of me. I love sunrises and sunsets, and taking photos when the opportunity arrives. We built our first home in 2009 and this past summer I grew my first 'tiny' garden. The tomatoes were a big hit. This is the love of my life, we w...

45 & Counting

The days ahead of my birthday were filled with wonderful times, friends and reflection on my part. I'm blessed to have these handful of ladies to be doing life with right now. They challenge me in striving to lean on God, look to His Word in scripture and I'm reminded I'm loved, as well to humble myself. They all love Jesus and each adds a great JOY to my days.  I've been given a life underserved. With days of grace and mercy, He pours out on me, a love I still don't fully comprehend.  The richness of blessing that is my husband. His amazing example of love through serving. I was spoiled for days, with dinner, gifts, breakfast, more gifts, lunch, flowers, and yes more gifts. In all things, I'm full beyond words with a grateful heart.  The weekend leading up to my birthday, I had the opportunity to attend IF: Local here in Yakima.  We were given the verse:  Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their hom...
